Do you charge planning or service fees?
Yes. My consulting and administrative fees reflect the time, research, and expertise invested in creating your journey. All fees are clearly outlined during our complimentary consultation and detailed in my Travel Services Fee Disclosure. The good news? Many fees can be waived or credited for returning clients and qualifying bookings.
I don't need help planning the trip. Can you help with just booking flights, hotels, and tours?
Absolutely! I'm happy to assist with specific travel arrangements like airfare, accommodations, transportation, or tours. While consulting fees may be waived or credited, administrative fees (such as airline booking or cancellation fees) still apply. Whether you need one piece or the whole puzzle, I've got you covered.
Do I have to book everything through you?
Not at all. I'm happy to help with select parts of your trip whether it is a cruise, a tour, or a custom itinerary. That said, working together on your full travel plan often creates a smoother, more cohesive experience and allows me to provide better support throughout your journey.
Can you work with groups or families?
Yes! I love planning group travel for families, friends, and special celebrations. I'll coordinate accommodations, activities, and logistics so everyone can relax and enjoy the experience without the stress of planning. Multi-generational trips are a specialty!

Do you offer payment plans?
While I do not directly offer an installment payment option, many travel vendors I work with do offer ways to do multiple payments set up as a payment plan. Some vendors do allow direct payment to them with various amounts. If the vendor does not provide a payment link, I can create a plan that will require the receipt of a credit card authorization request before each payment is processed. I'll walk you through the deposit and final payment schedule to keep everything on track. I also partner with Flexplay (formerly UpLift) to provide additional payment plan options with select travel suppliers.
What happens if I need to cancel or change my trip?
Cancellation and change policies vary by supplier, and I'll explain those details during booking. I'm here to assist with any rebooking or cancellation needs, though please note that administrative fees may apply in addition to supplier penalties. This is why I strongly recommend travel insurance.
Do you offer travel insurance?
Yes! I can help you compare travel insurance options and find coverage that fits your needs. My preferred partner is Allianz Global Assistance. Travel insurance protects your investment against cancellations, illness, delays, and unexpected events giving you peace of mind before and during your trip.
Help! I'm traveling on my own. Can you help me find the right trip?
Definitely! As a solo traveler myself, I love helping others discover safe, welcoming destinations and experiences. Whether you prefer independent exploration or group settings, I can recommend cruise lines, tours, and itineraries perfectly suited to solo adventures.
What forms of payment do you accept?
Planning and administrative fees are accepted via secure credit card payment processed through Square. For trip payments, you'll receive an electronic credit card authorization request via email for each payment. For your protection and mine, I do not accept credit card information or payment authorization verbally or via email reply. Payments are processed only after I receive your completed electronic authorization form. This secure process protects both of us and helps prevent unnecessary chargebacks.
How will I receive my itinerary and travel documents?
You'll access your itinerary through a personalized weblink and the Tern for Travelers mobile app, so your plans are always at your fingertips. Final travel documents are delivered electronically as PDFs (unless physical delivery is required by the supplier) and will also be available in your Tern for Travelers itinerary for easy access.
Why should I book with a travel advisor instead of doing it myself online?
Booking with me means having an expert who understands your travel style, vets options for you, and provides personalized support every step of the way. I offer insider access, exclusive perks, trusted partnerships, and help navigating the unexpected—things online booking sites simply can't match. Plus, you'll have someone in your corner if anything goes wrong.
Can you help with travel requirements like visas, COVID-19 rules, or entry forms?
Yes. While I'm not a legal authority on visa issuance, I can help you understand what's required for your destination, including entry forms, health declarations, and current protocols. I'll make sure you have the resources to feel confident and prepared before departure. Ultimately, it's your responsibility to ensure all travel documents are current and up-to-date before travel to avoid being denied the chance to board or enter your destination.
Will you be available during my trip if something goes wrong?
Absolutely. I'm here to support you before, during, and after your journey. If an issue arises while you're traveling, I'll work with you and the suppliers to find a solution quickly. You can reach me by sending a message to my WhatsApp business number. This is often the best way to connect, especially across time zones when phone calls may be difficult. Can you help with last-minute or spontaneous travel plans?
Yes! While I recommend planning early for the best options, I understand that sometimes travel needs to happen quickly. For last-minute requests, the planning fee may be required upfront before I accept the Trip Request due to time constraints. This ensures I can move quickly to check availability and secure your arrangements. Once paid, I'll dive right in with expert guidance to help you make the most of your time and budget.
